This series explores the femme-fatale archetype, and how this type manifests in traditional folk tales. I draw from stories of New Orleans and Edinburgh, two places I consider home. Both have rich and distinctive mythologies surrounding fearsome women, whether they be witches or Voodoo queens.  I worked primarily in lino-cut print  to illustrate these stories because I love how the dark prints emphasize the spookiness of the tales.
